Brockport, NY—The Brockport men's lacrosse team will head to Keuka College to close out the 2025 regular season on Saturday, April 26
th at 1 pm.
Last Time Out: The Golden Eagles fell to Nazareth at home, 13-7, on Wednesday, April 23
rd. The Golden Eagles fell to 7-8 overall and 4-4 in E8 play following the loss.
Jack Acker (L, 7-7) kept Brockport within striking distance, making a career-high 24 saves in an excellent effort.
Tyler Pastore led the squad with two forced turnovers, adding his first goal as a Golden Eagle.
Nicolas Ange and
Tim Hubbard led the way with three ground balls each.
Postseason Bound: In his first season as the head coach of the Golden Eagles,
Nick Fiorentino has guided Brockport to their first playoff appearance since 2022. The Golden Eagles will hold the #5 seed in the Empire 8 tournament, with the opponent still to be determined.
Doing the Dirty Work: Starting all 14 games for Brockport,
Nick Maslin has stabilized the midfield as a two-way threat for the Golden Eagles. Averaging over a point per game (8G,9A), Maslin leads Brockport with 28 groundballs, adding nine caused turnovers.
Scouting Keuka: The Wolves have been eliminated from playoff contention, holding a 3-11 record and a 0-8 mark in conference play. Brockport will look to secure its seventh straight victory against Keuka in the head-to-head series.
