The Empire 8 Conference announced the 2025 Softball All-Conference Teams and Award winners on Monday, May 12
th. Brockport had
Olivia Simone,
Teresa Cotty, and
Laina Beer all recognized by the E8.

Olivia Simone collected a pair of All-Conference nods for the Golden Eagles. She was named 2
nd-Team All-Conference as an outfielder and also earned 3
rd-Team All-Conference as a utility player. Simone had a fantastic season at the plate with a .420 average and 1.075 OPS. The outfielder/catcher totaled 50 hits, 12 doubles, six triples (tied program record), 23 RBIs, and 31 runs scored. At one point she rattled off an 11-game hit streak and she registered a .958 fielding percentage on the year.

Freshman
Teresa Cotty was awarded an At-Large 3
rd-Team All-Conference selection at the designated player position. In the first season of her collegiate career, Cotty batted .323 with an .850 OPS. Across 65 at bats she totaled 21 hits, six doubles, one home run, six runs scored, and 13 RBIs.

Senior pitcher,
Laina Beer was named the Golden Eagles' representative on the Empire 8 Sportswoman of the Year Team. One member of each team was named that institution's representative on the 2025 Empire 8 Softball Sportswoman of the Year Team. The Empire 8 Conference emphasizes that "Competing with Honor and Integrity" is an essential component of a student-athlete's experience in conjunction with an institution's educational mission.

Brockport finished off the 2025 campaign 14-22 overall and 6-16 in E8 play, missing out on a spot in the postseason. However, the Golden Eagles saw an increase in wins from 2024 in year one with the E8.
