Brockport, NY – On Wednesday, July 23rd
, the Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association announced their 2025 Division III Academic Honor Roll. Over 1,280 student-athletes from 201 institutions were honored, comprising junior, senior, and graduate student-athletes with a cumulative GPA of 3.5 or higher. The Golden Eagles netted three IWLCA Academic Honor Roll selections, the most since 2021.
Joining Brockport for her 5
th season,
Julia Barnwell was selected to the 2025 IWLCA Honor Roll. Studying education, Barnwell has competed in multiple sports at the Division III level, including field hockey, softball, and women's soccer. Appearing in 54 games in her collegiate lacrosse career, Barnwell accumulated 49 points (37G, 12A), 49 ground balls, and 10 caused turnovers.
Senior
Sarah Kilburn was named to the IWLCA Honor Roll for consecutive seasons, excelling both as a student and dual-athlete. A psychology major, Kilburn, served as a top goal scorer for the Golden Eagles, netting 31 goals in her senior season, finishing with 64 points (58G, 6A) and 121 draw controls across two seasons with Brockport. An accomplished swimmer, Kilburn set a new program record in the 100m butterfly, in addition to earning multiple conference championship medals.
Junior
Olivia Magin rounded out the honor roll selections for Brockport in her first season wearing the Green and Gold. Studying Physical Education, Magin appeared in nine games for the Golden Eagles, scoring two goals with two caused turnovers and a ground ball.
In their first season of Empire 8 competition, the Golden Eagles posted an excellent 7-2 conference record, earning a home playoff win against Utica before falling at Geneseo in the E8 Semifinals.
