Brockport, NY: The Brockport women's tennis team is set to open the 2025 season on the road against Fredonia on Saturday, August 30th, at 1 p.m.

2024 Recap: The Golden Eagles completed the 2024 season with a 3-11 overall record and a 3-5 mark in Empire 8 contests. After facing an early six-match skid, Brockport rallied for two consecutive victories: a 5-2 home win against Alfred University and a thrilling 5-4 road victory over Houghton. The team also secured a dominant 9-0 shutout victory at home against Utica.

2024 Awards: The Golden Eagles earned a pair of valuable rewards 

• September 2^nd, Kathleen Rogers and Lena Paolicelli Empire 8 Women's Tennis Doubles Team of the Week.
• Lena Paolicelli E8 Women's Tennis Sportswoman of the Year Team

Returning Roster: Brockport welcomes back nine players from the 2024 squad, including Kathleen Rogers, who was part of the Empire 8 Doubles Team of the Week, and Olivia Raschiatore, who earned Second Team All-Conference Doubles honors in 2023. Sophomore Madison Ballone, senior Olivia Chiu, sophomore Riley Dunton, junior Hannah Gardner, sophomore Carly Lewis, sophomore Erin McMichael, and sophomore Cara Vasile round out the returners for the Golden Eagles.

Newcomers: The Golden Eagles have added three new freshmen to their 2025 roster: Leah Banes, Samantha Figueroa, and Gianna Masker. The freshman additions will be eager to make an instant impact for the Golden Eagles.

Scouting the Blue Devils: Fredonia finished the 2024 season with a 6-9 overall record and a 1-4 mark in SUNYAC play. Last season, the Golden Eagles fell to the Blue Devils twice, including a close 5-4 season-opening loss on the road. The Golden Eagles have won four of the last six matches against Fredonia, dating back to the 2021 spring season.
