Brockport, NY – The SUNY Brockport football team is now officially ranked at No. 25 in the nation in the latest D3football.com Top 25 poll. The Golden Eagles earned their spot in the rankings after a 14-10 win over Hobart put them at 2-0 to start the season.
 
Brockport was on the Top 25 radar in the preseason, receiving votes in the poll from D3football.com in the preseason. A dominant, 41-0, win in week one at Buffalo State helped improve the squad's case for a spot in the rankings.
 
Heading into week two, Brockport was just outside the Top 25 looking in. The Green and Gold had the most votes in the poll for teams not in the Top 25. However, after a 14-10 win against the Hobart Statesmen, Brockport lands at No. 25 in the country heading into week three against RPI.
 
The nationally-ranked Golden Eagles take on Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute down in Troy, NY for a 12pm kickoff on Saturday, September 20^th.
