Brockport, NY - On Monday, Daniel Manneh was named as the Empire 8 Football Special Teams Player of the Week for his explosive performance on homecoming weekend. Manneh became the first player in Brockport football history to register a kick return, punt return, and receiving touchdown all in just the first quarter.

Manneh lit the scoreboard up with three touchdowns in the first quarter for Brockport in a dominant, 56-0, win over Hartwick to open E8 play. Manneh started the contest with an 80-yard return on the opening kickoff for his first touchdown of the day. Later in the first, Manneh took a screen pass 23 yards for a second touchdown. Just minutes after, he took a punt all the way back for a 67-yard score for touchdown number three. In front of the homecoming crowd, Manneh had three catches for 45 yards and a touchdown to go with 148 return yards and two touchdowns on special teams.

On the season, Brockport's big playmaker has totaled 313 yards receiving and two touchdowns on 24 receptions. In the return game he has lines of 72 yards and a touchdown (five attempts) on the punt return to go with 170 yards and a score in five tries on the kickoff.

The Golden Eagles improved to 3-1 overall and 1-0 in E8 play following the 56-0 win over Hartwick at home. They are on the road for a week five battle with St. John Fisher for the annual Courage Bowl matchup.
