BROCKPORT, NY - On Wednesday, February 4th the Empire 8 Conference announced its President's List for the 2025 Fall semester. An Empire 8 record 1,773 student-athletes from the league's membership were recognized for their excellence in the classroom this past semester with President's List distinction. 17 Brockport athletic programs and 223 Golden Eagle student athletes earned one of the most prestigious honors that the Empire 8 recognizes.

Recipients of this honor must earn a 3.75 grade-point average or higher during the semester, while participating in an NCAA-sponsored sport. In addition, the student-athlete must display positive conduct on and off campus and be enrolled full-time at the member institution. All-Academic teams must earn a team grade point average of 3.20 or higher during the semester.

Brockport athletic programs earning Empire 8 All-Academic team honors include Gymnastics (3.68 GPA), Women's Soccer (3.59), Women's Basketball (3.57), Women's Lacrosse (3.52), Women's Cross Country (3.46), Men's Cross Country (3.45), Softball (3.41), Volleyball (3.41), Women's Tennis (3.38), Field Hockey (3.34), Women's Indoor Track and Outdoor Track (3.32), Ice Hockey (3.31), Women's Swimming and Diving (3.29), Men's Indoor and Outdoor Track (3.23), and Women's Flag Football (3.21).   

Brockport's 223 student-athletes named to the President's List serves as the second most in the Empire 8, trailing only St. John Fisher (303). A full list of student-athletes named to the Empire 8 Presidents List can be found here . 

In Brockport's first two years in the Empire 8 conference, the Golden Eagles have translated success in the classroom into success in competition.
