Brockport, NY – The Brockport women's tennis team returns to the court this weekend, kicking off its spring slate with a road matchup against SUNY Geneseo on Saturday, April 11th. First serve is set for 1 p.m.
Fall Recap:
The Golden Eagles wrapped up the fall season with a 3-7 overall record and a 2-6 mark in Empire 8 play, earning the No. 7 seed in the conference tournament. A major highlight of the season came as Olivia Raschiatore was named to the E8 Women's Tennis Tomorrow's Leaders Team, becoming just the second Golden Eagle in program history to receive the honor.
Competing primarily at the No. 1 doubles position alongside Cara Vasile, Raschiatore posted a 3-4 record in top-flight play. The pair also earned Empire 8 Doubles Team of the Week honors after a dominant season-opening performance, defeating Fredonia 6-1. As a team, Brockport secured three decisive wins in the fall, topping Fredonia (6-1), Russell Sage (7-0), and Utica (7-0).
Spring Outlook:
The Golden Eagles' spring schedule features a two-match series against Geneseo, offering an immediate test in conference competition.

Scouting Geneseo:
The Knights enter the spring following an impressive fall campaign, finishing 9-3 overall with a 7-1 conference record. After earning the No. 2 seed in the Empire 8 Championship Tournament, Geneseo advanced past Nazareth with a 4-0 sweep before falling to No. 1 Hartwick, 4-1, in the championship match. The Knights have also been strong on their home courts, posting a 4-1 record.
Brockport will aim to carry momentum from its last outing—a 7-0 sweep of Utica—into Saturday's contest.
