Women's Lacrosse Prepped For Last Week of Regular Season Play

Brockport, NY – The Ladybros are set to prepare for the final week of regular-season play, hosting Nazareth University on Wednesday, April 22 at 4 p.m., before traveling to Keuka College on Saturday, April 25 at 12 p.m. Brockport enters the week with a 5-2 mark in conference play and an 8-5 overall record.

Last weekend, the Golden Eagles hosted Russell Sage and secured an impressive 15-3 victory over the Gators.

Emily Schiffer led the offense with five points on two goals and three assists. Hailey Lewkovich recorded four points with three goals and one assist. Amanda Evans and Alivia Cross each totaled three points, contributing two goals and one assist apiece, while Anna Low added one goal and one assist.

Offensive Standout – Junior Hailey Lewkovich has continued to build an impressive season and career for the Golden Eagles. Lewkovich leads the team with 40 goals this season, surpassing her previous totals of 39 in 2025 and 14 in 2024. Following this past weekend, she has moved into the program's top 20 in career goals, ranking 19th with 93, and sits 23rd all-time in career points with 113. She has also added nine assists this season for a total of 49 points.

Empire 8 Postseason – The Green and Gold have officially clinched a berth in the Empire 8 Championships and currently sit fourth in the conference standings behind St. John Fisher (first), Geneseo (second), and Utica (third). Hartwick holds the fifth position in the six-team tournament field.

A Look at Nazareth – The Golden Flyers enter the contest with a 3-12 overall record in the 2026 season and a 3-4 mark in Empire 8 play. Brockport holds a 7-3 advantage in the last 10 meetings, including a 21-12 victory last season.

Scouting Keuka – The Wolves are 2-10 overall this season and 0-7 in Empire 8 competition. Last season marked the first meeting between Brockport and Keuka since 2009, with the Green and Gold earning a decisive 15-1 win.

The first round of the Empire 8 postseason tournament is scheduled for Tuesday, April 28, with game times to be announced.
