BROCKPORT, NY — The Empire 8 Conference formally announced its 2026 Women's Lacrosse Championship All-Tournament Team on Monday, May 4, recognizing standout performances from the postseason. Following a competitive tournament run, SUNY Brockport saw two student-athletes honored for their contributions: senior Amanda Evans and sophomore Hailey Lewkovich. 

The Golden Eagles' postseason journey featured a commanding 13–5 victory over Nazareth University in the Empire 8 Championship quarterfinals before the team's season came to a close with an 8–15 loss to Geneseo in the semifinals.

Senior Amanda Evans closed out her collegiate career with a high-scoring postseason, accounting for six goals and one assist across the two-game tournament run. In the quarterfinal victory over Nazareth, she recorded a hat trick and one assist while firing a team-high eight shots and picking up two ground balls. Evans maintained her offensive pressure in the semifinals against Geneseo, once again finding the back of the net three times and adding another groundball to her tournament total to lead the Golden Eagles. 

Hailey Lewkovich was a force on both ends of the field, matching Evans with six goals and one assist throughout the Empire 8 Championship. During the dominant win over Nazareth, Lewkovich contributed three goals and an assist while anchoring the defense with a team-high five ground balls and four caused turnovers. She finished the tournament with another three-goal performance in the semifinals against Geneseo, a performance highlighted by two successful free-position goals. 

Following a strong season where the team finished with a 12-6 overall record and a 7-2 mark in conference play, the Golden Eagles look to build off this success as they prepare for their 2027 campaign.
