Junior Jesse Elliott (Clifton Park, NY/Shenendehowa) of the Brockport men’s lacrosse team has been named The College at Brockport Male Athlete of the Week following a 2-0 week for the Golden Eagles.

Elliott scored six goals and had eight points, both career-highs, in a 20-5 win against Medaille College on Wednesday. His six goals came on six shots. Elliott also found the back of the net on two man-up opportunities.

Against Elmira College on Saturday, Elliott collected six more points in a 14-11 victory to improve the Golden Eagles to 3-5 on the year. Elliott scored two goals and had four assists on the day. Four of his points came in the second half after Brockport trailed at halftime. The junior also grabbed two groundballs and caused two turnovers.

Elliott leads the State University of New York Athletic Conference (SUNYAC) in goals with 27 and points with 36. Brockport opens up its' SUNYAC schedule against Oswego State on March 30.
