Stephanie Schuler (Purcellville, VA/Hickory) led the women’s gymnastics team to its fourth Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) Championship since 2007 and has been named The College at Brockport Female Athlete of the Week for her efforts.

Schuler earned All-ECAC honors in two separate events on Saturday to lead Brockport to a final team score of 190.775, its highest mark of the season. With the title, Brockport earned a spot in the upcoming NCGA Division III Championships on March 22-23 at Wisconsin-Whitewater.

Competing at Cortland, Schuler tied for first place on the balance beam event with a score of 9.775 as the Golden Eagles took the top team score in the event with a 47.525. The score was a season and career-high for the sophomore.

Schuler also claimed All-ECAC honors on the uneven bars with a fifth place finish. Schuler posted a mark of 9.525 as Brockport took the top team score on the bars as well with a score of 46.700.
