Sophomore Courtney Szczesniak (Liverpool, NY/Liverpool) has been chosen as The College at Brockport Female Athlete of the Week for the week ending on November 10.

Szczesniak scored a late goal for the Golden Eagles on Wednesday against Oneonta in the semifinal round of the State University of New York Athletic Conference (SUNYAC) playoffs. The Golden Eagles could not overcome an early 2 goal deficit and were knocked out of the playoffs with a 2-1 loss against the Red Dragons.

For her efforts throughout the conference playoffs, Szczesniak was named to the 2013 SUNYAC All-Tournament team.
