Junior baseball player Anthony Barbetto (New City, NY/Clarkstown North) has been chosen as The College at Brockport Male Athlete of the Week for the week ending on March 23.

Barbetto helped the Golden Eagles open up the 2014 season with a 10-3 record.

So far, Barbetto is hitting .543 (13-for-24) and has recorded nine runs, four RBI’s and five stolen bases. Closing out the week, the shortstop had four hits, three runs and two RBI’s in the final of three games against Oswego, helping the Golden Eagles dominate in a 19-4 victory. Against Hilbert on Saturday, Barbetto had two runs and two RBI’s off of three hits in an 18-12 Brockport win.
