Sophomore Wesley Burghardt (Chittenango, NY/Chittenango) has been chosen at The College at Brockport Male Athlete of the Week for the week ending on April 27.

Burghardt’s offensive power helped the Golden Eagles finish the week 4-2 with three key State University of New York Athletic Conference (SUNYAC) wins over Oneonta to close out the week. Against the Red Dragons, Burghardt was 4-for-7 with three runs and four RBI’s.

For the week, Burghardt had a .444 batting average, scored 5 runs and RBI’s.
