Sophomore forward Chelsea Stahl (Brockport, NY/Brockport) has been named The College at Brockport Female Athlete of the Week for the week ending October 20. Stahl achieved a rare feet in soccer, erupting for three goals in a single State University of New York Athletic Conference (SUNYAC) game.

Coming off a tough 3-0 loss to Cortland, Stahl led the Golden Eagle rebound against Oswego. She scored three goals in Brockport’s 4-1 road win against the Lakers.

In the second half Stahl scored two of her goals within the span of four minutes. In the 53rd minute Stahl buried a shot past the Oswego keeper. Four minutes later in the 57th-minute mark, Stahl beat the Laker goalkeeper one-on-one for the Golden Eagle 3-0 lead.

With merely nine seconds remaining in the game, Stahl beat a Laker defender in a foot race before sending a shot past the goalie for the final score of Brockport’s 4-1 win.

Stahl is in a four way tie for the SUNYAC lead in goals. She has 10 on the season and her 23 points rank fourth in the conference.
