Senior Stephanie Schuler (Purcellville, VA/Hickory) has been named The College at Brockport Female Athlete of the Week for the week ending March 16. Schuler led the Brockport Gymnastics team to a second place finish at the National Collegiate Gymnastics Association (NCGA) East Regional with a team record score of 193.075, helping Brockport secure a spot at the NCGA National Championships March 27-28 at Wisconsin-Lacrosse.

Schuler won the uneven bars with a 9.775 score, while also placing sixth in both the vault and balance beam.  She finished second amongst her teammates in vault, scoring 9.65.

In the balance beam event Schuler tied for sixth place with her teammate scoring 9.675. Brockport finished the meet with three of the top four scores overall on the floor exercise to secure second place overall, finishing less than half a point behind the host Ursinus College.
