The College at Brockport Field Hockey team held Geneseo scoreless through the entire second half of the game but two first half goals by the Knights was the difference as Geneseo defeated the Golden Eagles 2-0 Friday afternoon in a State University of New York Athletic Conference (SUNYAC) game in Brockport.
 
The Golden Eagles (5-4 Overall, 2-2 SUNYAC) surrendered the first goal at the 14:23 mark of the first half and Geneseo (7-3, 3-1) made it a 2-0 game seven minutes later. Neither team was able to score for the remainder of the contest.
 
Kelly-Ann Henry (Glen Head, NY/North Shore) and Jessica LoBue (Farmingville, NY/Sachem East) worked with the Brockport offense that fired four shots and took seven penalty corners in the game. The senior duo along with Amanda Del Buono (Sauquoit, NY/Sauquoit Valley) was each honored by their teammates following the game.
 
Brockport returns to action Tuesday, October 4 with a 4 pm game against Ithaca College at Brockport.
