Kileigh Chapman (Gansevoort, NY/South Glens Falls) won both the Uneven Bars and tied for the win on the Balance Beam to lead The College at Brockport to a 185.800-182.325 victory over Ithaca College Saturday afternoon in the Tuttle North Gymnastics Facility in the first match of the season for the Golden Eagles.
Chapman scored a 9.5 on the bars to win the event and tied with Ithaca's Kimberly Callahan with a top score of 9.55 on the balance beam. Chapman added a 9.25 for fourth place on the floor exercise.
Taylor Weirzba (Hamburg, NY/Hamburg) won the floor with a 9.6 and
Elizabeth Levy (Glen Allen, VA/Hermitage) was third in the event with a 9.35. Levy was also fourth on the vault (9.35), third on the bars (9.40) and seventh on the balance beam (9.150).
Kelcie Morris (Hagerstown, MD/Smithsburg) was fourth on the balance beam and seventh on the floor while
Olivia Sylvestro (Palm City, FL/Martin County) was second in vaulting with a 9.525.
Taryn Kateridge (Medford, NY/Patchouge-Medford) was third in vaulting and
Lexi King (Glendale, AZ/Mountain Ridge) was fifth in the event.
Heidi Beckerich (Indianapolis, IN/Bishop Chatard) and
Natalie Manga (Fresh Meadows, NY/Benjamin Cardozo) finished fourth and fifth respectively on the uneven bars.
