Brockport Gymnastics Ranks 32nd Nationally with 19 WCGA Scholastic All-America Selections

BROCKPORT, N.Y. — The Women's Collegiate Gymnastics Association (WCGA) announced its 2025-26 Academic Honors on Wednesday, August 26, 2026, honoring the nation's top academic performances across intercollegiate women's gymnastics. The SUNY Brockport gymnastics team continued its strong academic standing, finishing ranked 32nd nationally among all reporting programs with a 3.7120 team grade-point average.

In total, 19 Golden Eagles earned WCGA Scholastic All-America recognition by maintaining a cumulative or single-year GPA of 3.50 or higher on a 4.0 scale. That performance accounts for 79.17% of Brockport's 27-member roster, securing a top-40 national ranking for team award recipient percentage.

Amelia York, Celina Satter, and Maria Pell all earned a perfect 4.0 GPA in the 2025-26 academic year.

Kiara Hockman (3.99, Cumulative), Charlotte Raymond (3.98, Cumulative), Alyssa Strain (3.97), Estelle LeBoeuf (3.94), Camille DeRienzo (3.93), Claire Wood (3.89), Lienna Kay (3.89), Cali Czarcinski (3.82), Eliana Wannall (3.81), Kayla Gleason (3.81), Julia Klucinec (3.74), Olivia Melo (3.73), Calissa Nisson (3.71), Jordyn Murray (3.69), Emma Langdon (3.63), and Emma Brookins (3.53, Cumulative) rounded out the Scholastic All-American honors for the Golden Eagles.

"The WCGA could not be more proud of the extraordinary standard of academic excellence set by our collegiate women's gymnastics programs each and every year," said Sarah Brown, Chair of the WCGA Board of Directors. "Achieving elite performance on the competition floor requires immense discipline, and balancing that with top-tier academic dedication in the classroom is a testament to the team culture, character, and work ethic of these student-athletes."

Nationally, 1,195 student-athletes recorded a 3.50 GPA or higher—representing a record-setting 77.15% of all reporting gymnasts. Across all collegiate institutions, the overall average GPA reached 3.6339, marking the second-highest average recorded since WCGA record-keeping began in 2015.

The classroom accolades round out another successful campaign for Head Coach Dr. René Lyst's program. On the competition floor, Brockport captured its sixth consecutive NCGA East Regional Championship before earning a third-place podium finish at the NCGA National Championships with a season-best team score of 193.875.
