Senior Kileigh Chapman (Gansevoort, NY/South Glens Falls) and freshman Olivia Sylvestro (Palm City, FL/Martin County) of the women's gymnastics teams have both earned weekly awards from the Eastern College Athletic Conference. Chapman has been named the Specialist of the Week and Sylvestro has been awarded Rookie of the Week after The College at Brockport beat Ithaca College 185.800 to 182.325 in their first meet of the season.

Competing on the uneven bars, Chapman scored a personal-best 9.5 to take first place. Her previous personal-best was 9.150. Chapman also tied for first place on the balance beam with a score of 9.55. Her personal-best is 9.600.

On the vault, Sylvestro scored a 9.525 to earn the Rookie of the Week honors. Her score was good enough for second place at the meet.

The Golden Eagles next meet is at Springfield College on Jan. 22 at 1:00 pm.
