Box Score

Junior Danielle Henck (Sauquoit, NY/Sauguoit Valley) scored with no time remaining on the clock at the end of the second half off a penalty corner for the only goal by The College at Brockport Field Hockey team as the Golden Eagles dropped a 5-1 decision in the season finale at the University of Rochester Saturday afternoon in Rochester.

The Yellowjackets (15-4), ranked #20 in the latest national poll, scored twice in the first half and added three more goals in the second half to build the 5-0 lead.

Near the end of regulation play, Brockport (6-8) was awarded a penalty corner and time cannot expire on a penalty corner. After three penalty corners, Henck knocked in a loose ball after a scramble in front of the Rochester cage for her fourth goal of the season.

Rochester's first goal came 4:17 into the contest and the Golden Eagles kept it at a 1-0 game until the final two minutes of the first half when the Yellowjackets scored again to take a 2-0 lead into the halftime intermission.

In the second half, Rochester scored twice in the first five minutes of the period to take a 4-0 lead and made it a 5-0 advantage with 5:27 left in regulation time.

Kasey Schreiner (Hamburg, NY/Hamburg) started in the Brockprot goal and made nine saves and freshman Elizabeth Hogan (Gloversville, NY/Gloversville) played most of the final 30 minutes of the contest and finished with two saves.
