Madison Buckley scored late in the second half in a 3-2 overtime loss to Ithaca
Box Score Senior Madison Buckley (Liverpool, NY/Liverpool) scored with 33 seconds remaining in the second half to knot the score at 2-2 but Ithaca College scored in overtime to post a 3-2 victory over The College at Brockport Saturday in Ithaca.

Ithaca (2-0) scored early in the first half and held the 1-0 lead through the first 35 minutes and into the second half.
Abby Eshcen (Cazenovia, NY/Cazenovia) put the Golden Eagles (0-1) on the board just over nine minutes into the second half as she took a pass from Emily Corpin (Peterboro, NY/Morrisville-Eaton) and lifted the ball over the Ithaca goalie to tie the score at 1-1.

Less than three minutes later, Ithaca regained the lead with a goal off a penalty corner.

With time running out, Brockport applied the offensive pressure and senior Jessica Blind (Webster, NY/Webster Thomas) send a pass across the mouth of the cage and onto the stick of Buckley who scored to tie the game at 2-2 with 33 seconds left to play in the second half.

The score remained tied for the final second of regulation time but three minutes into overtime, Ithaca won the game with a shot off a rebound after freshman goalie Lindsay Farrell (Baldwinsville, NY/C.W. Baker) had made the original save on a breakaway shot.

Ithaca held a 13-8 advantage in shots while penalty corners were nearly even with Brockport taking six and the Bombers taking seven.

Farrell finished with seven saves for the Golden Eagles.
