Field Hockey Loses SUNYAC Game

Brockport drops SUNYAC game 5-0 on the road to Cortland

The College at Brockport Field Hockey team dropped a road State University of New York Athletic Conference (SUNYAC) game to Cortland 5-0 Saturday afternoon.

Sophomore Lindsay Farrell (Baldwinsville, NY/C.W. Baker) and senior Kayla Kulzer (Rochester, NY/Greece Olympia) combined for 10 saves against Cortland. Brockport was outshot in the match 23-2.

Farrell had several saves in the opening half keeping the score even at 0-0 before the Red Dragons scored in the 30th minute. The Golden Eagles were unable to get a shot off in the first half as they trailed 2-0.

Kulzer was substituted into the game with just over 10 minutes remaining and quickly contributed four saves while giving up no goals.
