Box Score Sophomores Kelsey Baker (Oneonta, NY/Oneonta) and Amanda Riebe (Pleasant Valley, NY/Millbrook) as well as freshmen Lauren Cuzzupoli (Spencerport, NY/Spencerport)and Emily Flohr (Liverpool, NY/Liverpool) helped The College at Brockport Volleyball team score a 3-0 win on the road in a rescheduled evening match against Hilbert Monday.
In a match that every Golden Eagle saw some action, Brockport scored a 3-0 victory with 25-18, 25-20 and 25-21 wins.
Riebe and Baker led Brockport with six kills apiece. Flohr had five kills compared to zero errors, while tying with Baker for the lead in hitting percentage with a 0.455 mark. Cuzzupoli added four kills and played a strong middle, adding a blocked shot.
Flohr led all Golden Eagles defensively with eight digs. Sophomore Kayla Barber (South Glens Falls, NY/South Glens Falls), freshmen Aimee Spilman (Nassau, NY/Columbia) and Michelle Pender (Lynbrook, NY/Lynbrook) each added four digs.
Brockport combined for 10 service aces on the match and freshman Noelle Poloncarz (Orchard Park, NY/Orchard Park) led the way with three. Freshman Rachel Fiser (Visalia, CA/Golden West)doled out 15 assists.
Brockport travels to Plattsburgh this weekend for its final three SUNYAC matches of the regular season.
