Box Score POUGHKEEPSIE, N.Y. – The College at Brockport field hockey team faced Vassar College Saturday afternoon and fell 5-0. Mother nature was out in full force, causing a 48 minute lightning delay in the non-conference game.
Brockport (0-4) tallied two shots, both in the first half, from Margo Tremaine and Christina Conkling. Despite allowing four goals, goalie Paula Amo stood tall in goal, recording 12 saves in just over 48 minutes of play. The 12 saves is a career high for Amo.
The Golden Eagles have one more game remaining this weekend as they head to New Jersey to face Stevens Institute of Technology tomorrow morning at 10 A.M. to wrap up the road trip. Brockport will then return home for its first home game of the 2015 season Friday at 4 P.M. in a conference game against Oswego State.
