Field Hockey Suffers Non-Conference Loss

HOUGHTON, N.Y. – The College at Brockport Field Hockey team suffered a 3-0 loss to Houghton College Tuesday night in a non-conference game.

Brockport (1-9 overall, 1-1 SUNYAC) tallied four shots with two coming from reigning Brockport Athlete of the Week and SUNYAC Offensive Player of the Week Amy MascialeKatherine Weyant and Margo Tremaine recorded one shot each, both of them were on goal.

Paula Amo played the entire game in goal, suffering her sixth loss of the season.  Amo tallied eight saves and held Houghton (4-4, 1-3) to one goal in the first half.

Autumn Swavely made two defensive saves for the Golden Eagles.  The junior has now made six defensive saves in five games.
