SPRINGFIELD, Mass. – The College at Brockport Field Hockey team fell 4-0 to University of Southern Maine in a consolation game Sunday morning at the Dottie Zenaty Invitational Tournament at Springfield College in Massachusetts.

Southern Maine (2-1) scored 17 minutes into the game.  Less than a minute later, Brockport (0-1) had a chance to answer back as they earned a penalty corner.  Margo Tremaine sent a sharp pass to Christina Conkling but was met by the Huskies goalie.  Krista Millington pounced on the rebound but could not connect.

Sarah Beam made her Golden Eagle debut in goal, tallying four saves and allowing three goals.  Paula Amo took over in the second half and made two saves while giving up one goal.  Tremaine and Amy Masciale rounded out the Golden Eagles offense, each recording one shot.
