BROCKPORT, N.Y. – The College at Brockport Gymnastics team picked up a solid win on Saturday over the visiting Ursinus College, 186.650-185.075.
On the Golden Eagles opening rotation,
Bridgette Schaal was the high scorer, with a 9.400 for third place overall on the vault.
Jen Sklenar took fourth in the event with a 9.375, while
Brittany Vasile tied for fifth with a vault of 9.350. The Golden Eagles scored a 46.725 on the apparatus to outscore their opponents, 46.725-46.125.
On the uneven bars, Maddie O'Bratis led the way, scoring a 9.5 for second overall in the event. In the third rotation, the Golden Eagles were led by Alexis Frankowski and
Lily Jagodzinski, who each scored 9.525 for second place on the balance beam.
Brockport sealed the deal in the final rotation of the day, with Jagodzinski taking first in the floor with a score of 9.750. Schaal and Frankowski placed fourth and fifth respectively, with scores of 9.575 and 9.550 in the event.
The Golden Eagles will be back in action on Jan. 20 when they head to Ithaca, N.Y. for a dual meet at Ithaca College.
