Box Score GENESEO, N.Y. – The College at Brockport field hockey team closed out the 2019 season Wednesday afternoon with a tough 4-0 loss to the conference leader, Geneseo.
The Knights offense came out swinging from the start, notching three of their four goals in the first two quarters of the game, allowing them to secure the win and remain undefeated in conference play.

Katelynn Mello battled to get the Golden Eagles offense on the board, each recording at least one shot on goal. Ziemba led the night posting three total shots and two on goal. Goalies

Megan Petersen split time against the Knights, Fox leading the way with six saves followed by two from Petersen in the second half.
The Golden Eagles finished the 2019 season with an overall 9-8 record for a .529 win percentage. At a 9-8 overall, the Green and Gold record their best finish since the 2011 season, with multiple record book performances.
The Green and Gold will return a plethora of talent in the 2020 season and look to pick up things up right where they left off with the addition of some news faces and fresh perspectives.
