PROVIDENCE, R.I. – The College at Brockport women's gymnastics team secured their second win of the year Sunday afternoon in a strong matchup with Rhode Island College. The Golden Eagles record improves to a perfect 2-0 while the Anchorwomen fall to 0-1 to start the year.

Highlights:
Vault – The Golden Eagles dominated on the vault, securing three of the top five spots for their strongest score of the day, marked at a 47.300.
Lexi Castellaneta led the way with a 9.575 followed by
Nikki Jackson and
Jamie Sklenar nailing a 9.550 and 9.450 respectively.
Rachel Doll closed out the top five with an even 9.400.
Bars – Brockport followed up the vault with another lights out performance on the bars, grabbing all top five finishes.
Amy Eck was the top competitor for the Green and Gold with a score of 9.400. Freshman
Gabbi Gare then grabbed a second-place finish of 9.375 followed by
Kim Musall in third marked at a 9.275.
Rachel Swick and Doll each scored a 9.150 and 9.100 respectively for fourth and fifth place.
Beam – Despite a strong routine by Catellaneta on the beam, the Golden Eagles posted their weakest score of the day with a 46.125 team finish, however still securing four of the top five spots on the leaderboard. Castellnetta's 9.400 finish grabbed her second overall in the event just behind teammate
Jensen Todd who nailed first with a 9.425 finish.
Dorothy Wernick and
Emmie White each posted a 9.350 and 9.200 respectively.
Floor – The Green and Gold's second strongest performance came on the floor where the team finished with a 47.025 total. Castellaneta tied her top score of the day with a 9.575 routine to lead the event. The Anchorwomen's best score of the day came on the floor, put the Golden Eagles to the test.
Courtney Kamberalis tied for a third-place finish with a score of 9.500 even followed closely by teammate Kyra Figuerelli who scored a 9.450.
