BROCKPORT, NY – The National Collegiate Gymnastics Association (NCGA) released its All-Championships Team on Tuesday based on rankings taken solely from Season Average Score for individuals. Brockport gymnastics earned ten spots on the All-Championships team. Brockport's Alexis Castellaneta earned All-Championship honors in the vault, beam and floor to lead the way for the Golden Eagles.
Brockport's
Nikki Jackson earned all-championship team honors after finishing first in the region with a season average score of 9.7250 on the vault. She had a season-high score of 9.825 and finished the year ranked fourth nationally in the event.
Jamie Sklenar earned all-championship honors on the vault after posting a season average score of 9.6813, which ranked third in the region. She finished the season with a high of 9.725 on the vault and also ranked tied for fifth in the nation.
Castellaneta was an all-championship selection in three events including the vault, balance beam and the floor exercise. She finished the year ranked 11
th in the region in the vault and had a season-high of 9.625 in the event. She placed seventh in the region on the balance beam with a season average score with a score of 9.6625. She had a season high of 9.700 on the beam and ranked 15
th nationally. She also finished the year ranked seventh in the region in the floor exercise with a season average score of 9.6813. She ranked 10
th nationally in the event and had a season high of 9.775.
Brockport's
Amy Eck was an all-championship selection in the uneven bars after finishing the season ranked third in the region and fourth nationally with a season average score of 9.6813. She also had a season high score of 9.725.
Gabbi Gare was also an all-championship pick following her ninth place finish in the region on the uneven bars. She had a season average score of 9.4938 and a season high of 9.550 in the bars.
Jensen Todd placed ninth in the region on the balance beam to earn all-championship team honors with a season average score of 9.5938. She also ranked 22
nd in the nation and had a season high of 9.675.
Kyra Figurelli finished the season ranked sixth in the region and eighth nationally in the floor exercise with a season average score of 9.6938 to earn all-championship team honors. She also added a season high score of 9.850 on the floor.
Courtney Kamberalis was the final Golden Eagle selected to the all-championship team after posting a season average score of 9.6375. She ranked 10
th in the region and 15
th nationally in the event. She also had a season high score of 9.775 in the event.
