The SUNY Brockport women's track and field team took to the track at the Cardinal Classic hosted by St. John Fisher College on Saturday.
Lucia Sibley shattered her own personal-best in the women's 400m hurdles with a first place time of 1:05.54 which should catapult her into the nation's top 25 on the outdoor national qualifying list.
Alayna Fredenburg placed first in the javelin throw with a personal best toss of 39.10m and
Emma Kinnicutt added a first place finish in the women's discus with a throw of 36.62m.
Brockport took home the top four spots in the women's hammer throw.
Olivia George placed first with a personal-best toss of 50.82. Her first career 50+ meter throw has pushed her into the top 5 all-time in Brockport's program-history.
Alayna Fredenburg placed second in the hammer (47.91m), while
Sarah Crockett placed third (47.18m).
Emma Kinnicutt rounded out the top 4 with a throw of 45.94m.
Crockett also won the women's shot put with a throw of 13.19m.
Sarah Killip won the women's high jump event with a personal-best clearance of 1.58m.
Senior
Katie Adams placed fourth in the 3000m steeplechase with a season-best time of 12:38.31, while
Sarah Levine added a second place finish in the 100m dash with a personal-best and team-best time of 12.71.
Lisa Pink placed second in the 800m race with a personal-best time of 2:17.25, while
Jennifer Metz placed fourth in the same event with a time of 2:25.03.
Brianna Lawless placed third in the 200m dash with a season-best time of 26.55.
Chanyce Powell posted a season-best jump of 5.40m in the long jump to take home second place, while
Halle King added a personal outdoor best jump of 5.33m to take home third place.
Gillian Laco placed second in the women's pole vault with a personal outdoor best clearance of 2.95m.
Mia Montgomery placed second in the triple jump with a distance of 10.93m, while
Chanyce Powell placed third in the same event with a jump of 10.90m.
Brockport returns to the track on Friday when it hosts the Brockport Friday Night Invite at Eunice Kennedy Shriver Stadium.
