Rochester, NY – The SUNY Brockport women's track and field team took third place out of 34 teams with 70 points at the All Atlantic Region Track and Field Conference Championships (AARTFC).
Sarah Crockett earned a regional title in the shot put with her first-place throw of 13.13 meters.
Lisa Pink ran a personal-best time of 4:45.53 in the women's 1,500-meter event to snag second place.
In the women's 4x100-meter relay event, Brockport's squad of
Mia Montgomery,
Brianna Lawless,
Sabrina Donoghue, and
Sarah Levine placed fifth with a time of 50.59.
Lucia Sibley placed seventh in the 400-meter hurdles with a time of 1:06.53.
Halle King and
Sarah Killip both placed inside the top 10 for the women's high jump with clearance marks of 1.59 and 1.54 meters.
King also took fourth place in the long jump with a personal-best distance of 5.65 meters.
Emma Kinnicutt took sixth in the women's discus thanks to her distance of 36.49 meters.
Sarah Levine and
Brianna Lawless earned fifth and eighth place respectively in the finals of the women's 100-meter dash. With a time of 12.58 on the day, Levine set a new personal-best time for the second day in a row in the event.
With a score of 3,263 points in the heptathlon,
Madison Baker took eighth place in the event.
Next for the Golden Eagles is the NCAA Division III Track and Field Championships next week, starting on May 27
th. Individuals must qualify to compete on the national stage.
