The SUNY Brockport gymnastics team is ranked No. 1 nationally in the RoadtoNationals.com weekly All-Around Team rankings after posting a team score of 187.275 Saturday. Brockport's team score is the highest total for a season opening meet in program-history.
Three Golden Eagles rank in the top four nationally in the vault.
Lexi Castellaneta sits atop the national rankings with a score of 9.725 on the vault.
Emma Grace Sargent ranks second nationally in the vault with a score of 9.65, while
Kyra Figurelli is tied for fourth nationally with a vault score of 9.525.
Lexi Castellaneta ranks third nationally with a score of 9.525 on the balance beam.
Natalie Galioto ranks seventh nationally on the beam with a score of 9.425. Sydeney Schumaker and
Dorothy Wernick rank ninth and 10
th nationally with beam scores of 9.375 and 9.350, respectively.
Brockport also has five student-athletes in the top ten nationally in the floor exercise. Castellaneta ranks No. 1 with a score of 9.825.

Kirsten Paultre ranks ninth nationally with a score of 9.550 and
Maya Pecoraro is tied for 10
th nationally with a floor exercise score of 9.525.
Brockport hits the road next weekend for a meet at Rhode Island College on January 22nd. The Golden Eagles next home meet is at 1 p.m. on February 5th against Rhode Island College and as Brockport celebrates Senior Day.
