Brockport, NY – The SUNY Brockport field hockey team is at home on Wednesday, October 26
th for the final game of the season. Brockport hosts Geneseo for a 4pm start on Dr. Linda Arena Field.
Last Time Out: In this past Saturday's conference battle, the visiting Oneonta Red Dragons stole a 1-0 win from Brockport at home. The Green and Gold gave up a goal in the third quarter and was unable to match it. The loss put the team at 9-6 overall and 2-3 in the SUNYAC. This loss in conference play officially eliminated Brockport from postseason contention this year.
Scoring Leaders: Bailey Lazore leads the Golden Eagles with nine goals and 19 total points for the 2022 season.
Gianna Salerno is behind her with seven goals in her second season with the squad, totaling 15 points.

Emmalee Moore, and
Taylor Weber have all notched six goals for Brockport.
Setting the Table: Brockport has three players tied for the lead on the in assists.
Tiffany Andres,
Kalena Eaton, and
Olivia Hayden all have five assists this year. Andres has totaled 15 points with five goals to go with her handful of assists. Eaton adds three goals to her assist tally for 11 points. Hayden has one goal to go with her line, giving her seven points on the year.
Blocking the Way: Ella Buchanan has been the go-to goalie in net for the Green and Gold this season. She has started in 13 matches to collect 105 saves on the season for a .795 saves percentage. Backup
Katelynn Banning has one start in six appearances, making four saves and teaming up with Buchanan for one combined shutout.
Scouting Geneseo: The Geneseo Knights are 13-2 overall and 5-0 in the SUNYAC. They are currently on an 11-game win streak heading into this mid-week matchup. Geneseo has locked up the No. 1 seed for the upcoming conference tournament. The team has three players with 20 or more points on the season, with #20 Katrina Clare leading the way with 25 points. #98 Sarah Quinlan is the starting goalie, owning a .833 saves percentage and a 0.53 goals against average.
Going for 10: Brockport closes its season out on Wednesday against Geneseo, looking for win number 10 on the season. It would be the first time the Golden Eagles have had 10 wins since 2011 and would set a new career-high in wins for Head Coach
