The nationally ranked No. 1 SUNY Brockport gymnastics team remained unbeaten in team competition and improved to 10-0 on the year with two dual victories over Ithaca and Cortland at the Harriett Marranca Memorial Invitational hosted by Ithaca on Sunday. The Golden Eagles posted a team score of 191.150 and swept all four team events to remain in command of the NCGA East. Brockport's
Sydney Schumaker won the vault (9.700), tied the school-record on the beam (9.800) and she added a sixth-place finish on the bars (9.100).
The Golden Eagles return to action next Sunday when they travel to SUNY Cortland to square off against Ithaca and Cortland. Brockport is 4-0 against Ithaca this year and 3-0 against Cortland.

Sydney Schumaker took home first place in the vault (9.700) while
Lexi Castellaneta placed second with a score of 9.675.
Emma Grace Sargent rounded out the top three with a score of 9.575 and
Kyra Figurelli added a fifth-place finish (9.525).

Brockport once again dominated on the bars and posted a team score of 47+ for the fourth consecutive meet. The Golden Eagles had the top six finishers in the event.
Taylor Bushey won with a score of 9.675 and
Emma Grace Sargent placed second with a score of 9.650.
Gabbi Gare placed third (9.425) and
Kyra Figurelli placed fourth (9.350).
Rachel Swick (9.325) and
Sydney Schumaker (9.100) rounded out the top six.

Brockport's bars team posted a 48+ for the second consecutive week to help the Golden Eagles pull away from the competition.
Natalie Galioto tied the school-record for the second straight week and
Sydney Schumaker put together a career-best performance (9.800) to tie her teammate for the top spot in the event.
Lexi Castellaneta tied for fourth place with a score of 9.725 and
Olivia Stinnette placed ninth with a score of 9.300.
Emmie White rounded out the top ten finishers with a score of 9.300.

Brockport posted a 48+ team score for the third straight week and Alexis Castellaneta won the floor for the third time this year, and second consecutive week, as she posted a score of 9.825.

Laken Sooy posted a collegiate best score of 9.550.
