BROCKPORT, NY – SUNY Brockport will host The State University of New York Athletic Conference (SUNYAC) men's and women's indoor track and field championships will take place Friday and Saturday, February 25 and 26, 2022 at Brockport's SERC Field House. The championship will begin at 3 p.m. on Friday with the last event at 9:15 p.m. The meet will continue at 10 a.m. on Saturday finishing with the men's 4x400 relay at 3:40 p.m.
Championship History: SUNY Brockport will look to be one of the eight other SUNYAC teams competing to knock off Geneseo who's is looking to defend both titles after taking home the SUNYAC men's and women's indoor track and field championship crowns from 2017-2020. There was no competition in 2021 due to COVID-19.
How to Keep Track: The 2022 SUNYAC indoor track and field championships will not be able to accommodate in-person spectators during the league's two-day event. Fans will be able to view the events through the live stream each day with live results available. Watch the live stream

In five scored meets this season, the Golden Eagles women's indoor track and field team have finished in the top three as a team each time winning the season opener Utica Holiday Classic with a score of 164 points and the Brockport Multi with a score of 153 points.
National Leaders
Top 50
Five women on the SUNY Brockport women's indoor track and field team are ranked in the Top 50 in the country in four different events.
Junior,
Sarah Crockett is the only women on the team to hold spots in the top 50 in two different events. In the shot put, Crockett, a four-time 2021-2022 Prestosport Women's Indoor Field Athlete of the Week winner, ranks 14th in the country when she hit a mark of 13.51m this past weekend at the Nazareth Conference Tune-Up. Crockett would go on to set a new personal record for herself in the weight throw at the same meet after hitting a mark of 16.07m which ranked her 37th in the nation in the weight throw.
Senior
Alayna Fredenburg who was this week's Prestosport Women's Indoor Field Athlete of the Week winner, also hit a personal record in the weight throw at the Nazareth Conference Tune-Up with a mark of 16.70m. this mark earned her first place In the event at the meet along with a national ranking of the 15th best weight throw toss in the nation this season.
At the triple jump, senior
Chanyce Powell earned herself as the 14th best triple jumper in the country after she hit a mark of 11.66m at the RIT February Friday Meet back on February 11th.
In the long jump,
Halle King ranks 47th in the country with a mark of 5.40m at the RIT February Friday Invitational. King also ranks 65th in the country in the women's high jump with a mark of 1.59m.
In the high jump, sophomore
Michaela Levesque hit a mark of 1.68m, 0.03m short of the schools all time indoor track and field women's record. Her mark of 1.68m which was set at the Brockport Multi placed her 9th in the country in the event.
Top 100
Seven other women on the team have placed within the top 100 in their event in that nation including one relay team.
Sarah Levine ranks in the top 100 In both the 60m dash and 200m sprint. Her 60m dash time of 7.91s set at the Brockport Multi ranks her 59th in the country while her time of 26.16# seconds (# denoted adjusted time for banked track) at the Boston University Valentine Invitational ranks her 53rd in the country in the event.
Kerry Flower ranks 95th in the country in the 3000m race with a time of 10:28.65# at the Boston University Valentine Invitational.
In the women's 60m hurdles,
Kelsie Naldrett ranks 68th in the country when she ran a personal best 9.32s at the Nazareth Conference Tune-Up.
The 4x400 women's relay team of
Rhea Winter,
Kaylee Haynes,
Sarah Levine and
Marissa Wise rank 53rd in the country with a time of 4:04.27# at the Boston University Valentine Meet.
Mia Montgomery ranks 55th in the country in the triple jump with a mark of 11.11m at the RIT February Friday Invitational.
In throws, freshman
Maleenah Ortiz ranks 75th in the country with a mark of 12.20m at the Nazareth Conference Tune-up.
Freshman
Emma Kinnicutt earned herself a place of 64th in the country with a mark of 15.26m in the women's weight throw with a throw of 15.26m at the Utica Blue and Orange Invitational.
To round out Brockport women in the top 100 is
Madison Baker who ranks 92nd in the country in the Pentathlon after recording a total of 2340 points at the Brockport Multi.
Regionals
Following the SUNYAC Championships, those who qualify will go to the All-Atlantic Region Track and Field Indoor Conference Championships at Nazareth College in Pittsford, NY for the two day event of Friday, March 4th and Saturday, March 5th
