The SUNY Brockport gymnastics team picked up three more victories and finished the regular season with a perfect 15-0 dual record as the Golden Eagles totaled 191.900 team points and defeated host Cortland (188.225), as well as Rhode Island College (187.025) and Ursinus College (186.100) on Sunday afternoon.  Brockport finished the regular season unbeaten for the first time in program-history and the Golden Eagles will now turn their focus to the NCGA East Regionals hosted by Springfield College next Saturday at 1 p.m. The top three team finishers at the six-team event qualify for the NCGA National Championships on March 26 at Ithaca.
The Golden Eagles won three out of four events and they registered a 48.000+ on the vault for the fourth time this season and a 48.000+ on the floor for the fifth consecutive meet.  Rookie of the Year candidate 
Sydney Schumaker earned another individual victory on the vault (9.750), while senior stand out 
Lexi Castellaneta came away with event victories on the beam (9.775) and the floor (9.800). 
The Golden Eagles have now scored over 190.000 points for the sixth time this season, tying the program's single season record set back in 2018.

Schumaker, who has been named the NCGA Specialist of the Week for two straight weeks, won the vault for the fifth consecutive meet for the Golden Eagles as she posted a first place score of 9.750.  
Lauren Blair tied for second with a score of 9.675, while 
Emma Grace Sargent placed fourth with a score of 9.625.  
Lexi Castellaneta tied for seventh (9.500) and 
Nicole Jackson tied for 10
th (9.475).  Schumaker, Castellaneta and Sargent will all head to regionals ranked in the top 10 nationally in season average score (SAS) on the vault.

Brockport posted another team victory on the bars with five Golden Eagles finishing in the top 10 in the event.  
Taylor Bushey and 
Sydney Schumaker led the way for Brockport as they tied for third with a score of 9.650.  
Nicole Jackson placed seventh with a score of 9.600 and 
Emma Grace Sargent tied for eighth with a score of 9.525.  
Gabbi Gare rounded out the top ten as she tied for 10
th with a score of 9.500.

Brockport placed second in the team scoring on the beam with a top five of 47.675.  
Lexi Castellaneta earned a first-place finish on the beam with a score of 9.775, while

Jensen Todd stepped up big time and posted a season-high score of 9.575 to tie for sixth place in the event.  
Emmie White tied for ninth with a score of 9.500.

Brockport posted a team score of 48.000+ for the sixth time this to help secure the victory for the Golden Eagles.  
Lexi Castellaneta tied for first in the event with a score of 9.800, while 
Kyra Figurelli came up big with a 9.750, good for third place in the event. Castellaneta has now placed first on the floor in four straight meets and she will head to regionals with the top floor routine in Division III according to SAS. 
Emmie White placed sixth with a score of 9.625 and 
Kirsten Paultre placed seventh with a score of 9.600.  
Natalie Galioto and 
Naimah Muhammad each tied for tenth with a score of 9.500 to round out the top six for Brockport.
