SUNY Brockport has announced its newest members selected for induction in the Brockport Athletics Hall of Fame. The Golden Eagles will celebrate all of the inductees during Homecoming Weekend at the Alumni Awards & Hall of Fame Dinner and Ceremony on Friday, October 7 at 6pm, in the Special Events Recreation Center.
Brockport will enshrine three classes of inductees at the event to make up for previously postponed ceremonies due to COVID-19.
The class of 2020 includes: The 2000 Brockport Football Team, Kaylen Fessette '08 (Volleyball), Aliceann Wilber '74 (Women's Soccer) and Matt Johnson '04 (Baseball).
The class of 2021 includes: John "Scotty" Moore '74 (Men's Soccer), Stephanie Geer '11 (Softball), Zach Ferrara '13 (Track & Field), Brian Cavanaugh '76 (Men's Hockey) and Amanda Pickard '12 (Field Hockey).
The class of 2022 includes: The 2012 Brockport Gymnastics Team, the 2002 Brockport Football Team, Rachel Malone '15 (Cross Country / Track & Field), Taylor Wierzba '12 (Gymnastics), and Elizabeth Levy '13 (Gymnastics).

- School-record holder for career assists (5,305)
- Single season record holder for assists (1,401)

Aliceann Wilber '74 (Women's Soccer – Lifetime Contribution)
- Head Women's Soccer Coach at William Smith
- United Soccer Coaches National Coach of the Year: 1987, 1988, 1991, 2008, 2013
- D3soccer.com National Coach of the Year: 2013
- Wilber's career record with the Herons stands at 572-135-58.
- She is the first woman in collegiate soccer history to earn 400 career wins, and her 572 wins put her in first place on the NCAA Division III Women's Soccer all-time list.
Matt Johnson '04 (Baseball Student-Athlete)
- SUNYAC Player of the Year in 2004. 1st Team All-SUNYAC in 2004 as an outfielder.
- Led the 2004 team to a 34-15 record and an appearance in the NCAA DIII World Series.
- 13th all-time at Brockport with 132 career hits.
- T-5th all-time at Brockport with 58 hits in a single season.
- School-record holder with 20 doubles in a single season (2004)

- First Team All-American
- Named 4th best player in the nation

- Most points in a season, 1971;
- NYS's third leading scorer with 15 goals and 7 assists;
Stephanie Geer Gonzalez '11 (Softball)
- Four time All-SUNYAC selection (2011, 2010, 2009, 2008).
- NFCA All-Region selection
- Scholar All-American
- Graduated with a 3.91 GPA and is the 2011 School of Science and Mathematics Undergraduate Award recipient.
- Finished with a 59-21 record, 76 complete games, 25 shutouts and a 1.58 ERA.
- Second all-time in career strikeouts.
Zach Ferrara '13 (Track & Field Student-Athlete)
- 2013 NCAA Div. III Indoor Pole Vault National Champion
- 2013 NCAA Div. III Outdoor Runner-Up
- Indoor and Outdoor school-record holder in the pole vault.
- USTFCCCA Indoor Field Scholar Athlete of the Year
- Brockport Male Athlete of the Year
- Multiple All-American Honors
Amanda Pickard '12 (Field Hockey Student-Athlete)
- Brockport Female Athlete of the Year in 2012
- National Field Hockey Coaches Association (NFHCA) All-American
- NFHC Senior all-star game selection, named team captain.
- Broke nearly all of the school records for offense at Brockport.
- Ended her career as the all-time leader in points (78) and assists (24)
- Graduated as the school record holder for goals in a season (16), assists in a season (8) and points in a season (39).
Brian Cavanaugh '76 (Men's Hockey Veteran Athlete)
- Tied for fourth all-time with 124 career points (45 goals-79 assists).
- 79 career assists ranks third all-time at Brockport.
- 54 points in 73-74 season ranks second all-time in a single season at Brockport.
- 35 assists in a single season ranks second all-time.
- Holds the single game record for most total points with seven.
- Golden Eagles' MVP three times and held numerous Brockport scoring records upon graduation.
- Head Hockey Coach at Canisius for 23 years.
- Athletic Director at D'Youville from 06-19. Recently named the Executive Director of Athletic Advancement at D'Youville

2012 Brockport Gymnastics Team
- Won the 2012 NCGA National Gymnastics Championship at Brockport.
- First female team ever to win a National Championship of any sport in Brockport history.
2002 Brockport Football Team
Head Coach Rocco Salomone
- Finished the season with a 10-3 record. Advanced to the NCAA Quarterfinals.
- Won their first two NCAA Championship games against Springfield (1st Round) and Rowan (2nd Round).
- All-Americans included Mike Condello (AFCA 1st Team), Ryan Bierly (Hewlett-Packard Honorable Mention), Jeremy Lynch (D3football.com 2nd Team), Mat Walther (Hewlett-Packard HM), Jamie Rother (D3football.com HM).
Rachel Malone McGarvey '15 (Cross Country/Track & Field Student-Athlete)
- Three-time NCAA Cross Country All-American for the Golden Eagles
- Three-time cross country All-Region selection
- Three-time SUNYAC Cross Country All-Conference First Team selection.
- She was also named the Brockport Female Athlete of the Year.
- She was a standout in the classroom earning COSIDA Academic All-District, SUNYAC All-Academic and USTFCCCA All-Academic honors.
- She was a two-time NCAA outdoor track & field national qualifier in the 10k race.
- 10k All-American
Elizabeth Levy '13 (Gymnastics Student-Athlete)
- 2012 NCGA individual National Championship in the All-Around to earn All-American honors.
- Also named 2012 All-American on the balance beam and uneven bars as Brockport was declared National Champions.
- Brockport Female Athlete of the Year
- Multiple time All-America
Taylor Wierzba '12 (Gymnastics Student-Athlete)
- Led Brockport to its' first ever National Collegiate Gymnastics Association (NCGA) National Championship
- Captured the individual national title on the floor exercise by scoring a 9.725 to win All-American honors
- Wierzba also earned All-American status on the uneven bars to finish in eighth place with a score of 9.425.
