Rochester, NY – Friday night the Golden Eagles indoor track and field teams competed at the RIT Friday Night Meet.
In the women's 60-meter dash,
Courtney Bostic placed second with a finals time of 8.51.
The squad had three top-five finishers in the 200-meter.
Sarah Levine crossed first for the Green and Gold with a second-place time of 26.95. Clara Sensini placed third with a 27.41 and
Vanessa Ramos was fifth with a time of 29.21
Taking part in the 300-meter dash,
Chyra Patterson beat out her competition with a first-place time of 49.19.
The Golden Eagles took first, second, and third in the 400-meter event. Ramos ran a 1:04.14 to win the race. Bostic was second to cross with her personal best 400-meter mark of 1:04.26. In third place,
Naomi Sibley clocked in at 1:04.40 in an incredibly tight race between teammates.
Kaylee Haynes finished in 2:29.37 for first in the 800-meter.
Julianne Wilson was right behind in second with a time of 2:30.92 for a new personal record.
Mia Vizcaino's time of 2:31.88 was good for fourth place as well as a new individual best. With a 2:32.95,
Olivia Annunziato took fifth in the event.
Emma Mathes represented Brockport with a second-place time of 3:13.42 in the 1000-meter race.
In the mile,
Lydia Cox placed fifth with her run of 5:41.54.
With a time of 10:57.61 in the 3000-meter, freshman
Leah Siegmann placed second. Teammate
Sarah Davis took fifth in the race with a 11:10.84.
Madison Baker ran a 10.38 in the 60-meter hurdles for a fourth-place finish.
In the high jump competition,
Michaela Levesque cleared the regional qualifying mark with her clearance of 1.57 meters. Levesque took first in the event, while teammate
Sarah Killip's height of 1.52 meters was good for second.
Mya Henry,
Tess Eichner, and
Hunter Czajkowski reeled in third, fourth, and fifth in the pole vault. Henry and Eichner both cleared 2.90 meters, while Czajkowski finished at 2.70 meters for a new personal record.
Mia Montgomery leaped a regional qualifying distance of 5.40 meters to take second at the meet in the long jump.
Chyra Patterson set a new personal best with a fifth place mark of 4.49 meters.
Alanah Bryant was able to earn fifth place with a mark of 9.78 meters in the triple jump.
Sarah Crockett was second in the shot put with a regional qualifying throw of 12.78 meters.
Trinity Dees was third in the event with a 11.35, and
Emma Kinnicutt took fifth with a 10.98.
The Brockport throwers placed first through fourth in the weight throw. Crockett won the event with her regional qualifying mark of 16.19 meters. Kinnicutt also hit the regional standard with a second-place throw of 14.91 meters.
Lainey Porter got in on the action with a mark of 14.16 meters, also hitting the regional mark. Dees rounded out the group with her 12.59 for fourth place.
Next weekend the Golden Eagles are back at their home facility for the Brockport Multi, set to run from Friday, February 3
rd through Saturday the 4
th.
