Box Score Morrisville, NY - The Brockport field hockey team put together a dominant display on Saturday, October 21
st, dismantling Morrisville, 9-0 on the road. The Golden Eagles moved to 11-5 overall and 3-2 in SUNYAC play to clinch a spot in the postseason.

To go with such a big win for the program,
Emmalee Moore added her name to the Brockport field hockey record book. With two assists on the day, she now has 10 for the season to set a new program record for assists in a single season.
The Golden Eagles posted a trio of goals in the first quarter, with
Tiffany Andres finding paydirt from
Bailey Lazore just 16 seconds into the contest.
Kalena Eaton would connect next for the Golden Eagles, burying a
Gianna Salerno feed to put Brockport ahead 2-0 11:36 into the first.
Tiffany Andres would make the Brockport lead 3-0 in the first with her 2
nd goal in the period, with
Paige Thowe chipping in with the assist.
Paige Thowe would knock in the lone goal of the second period, giving the Golden Eagles a 4-0 edge entering halftime.
Morrisville would find three scoring chances in the first half, all of which were stopped by
Ella Buchanan. Buchanan would earn yet another win, making three stops in 35:42 of game action.
The Green and Gold kept the foot on the gas, adding four more goals in the third period.
Gianna Salerno added two of the four goals, along with
Bailey Lazore and
Madison Kirkpatrick.

Tiffany Andres completed the hat trick with the ninth and final Brockport goal, with
Emmalee Moore adding her second assist of the contest.
With her assist on the ninth Brockport goal,
Emmalee Moore (10 assists) broke the Brockport program record for assists in a season (9).
The Golden Eagles held a massive shots-on-goal advantage (26 to 3), in addition to earning six more corner chances (10 to 4).
Four Golden Eagles scored three or more points in the contest, including
Tiffany Andres (6),
Gianna Salerno (6),
Paige Thowe (3), and
Bailey Lazore (3).
