Brockport, NY - The Brockport men's and women's cross country teams turned in strong performances at the SUNYAC Championships at Oneonta. The men's team earned a 2
nd place finish, scoring 54 points. The women's team placed 5
th out of 8 teams, scoring 143 points.

Men's Team:

Jared Smith turned in an excellent performance, with his 25:20.7 mark leading the Golden Eagles and finishing 5
th overall. Smith's 5
th place finish earned himself First Team All-SUNYAC, in addition to being named to the SUNYAC 2023 Men's Cross Country Championship Hall of Fame.

Jonathan Zavala was right on his heels, finishing 6
th overall and earning Second Team All-SUNYAC with his 25:23 finishing time.

Patrick Klinger crossed the finish 3
rd for Brockport, with his 25:56.9 time good for 11
th overall, as well as a Third Team All-SUNYAC selection.

Gabe Winters-Bona rounded out the All-Conference selections for Brockport, earning 3
rd team honors while finishing 13
th overall

Thomas Kressly rounded out the men's top 5, crossing the finish line at 26:45.2, good for 19
th overall.

Mia Vizcaino was first to finish for Brockport, wrapping up her 6k in 24:39.5, good for 25
th.

Julianne Wilson finished 2
nd for Brockport, earning 26
th overall with her 25:09.5 mark.

Esther Nankumba (25:24),
Lydia Cox (25:25), and
Lauren Yonko (25:37) finished within 13 seconds of each other, taking 29

rd, respectively.
