Brockport, NY – The SUNY Brockport athletic department finished the 2023 academic semester with a department grade point average of 3.24.
 
79 student-athletes registered a 4.0 GPA, while 339 maintained a 3.40 or better to make the Dean's List and 524 had a 3.0 or above for honor roll.
 
Four of the teams were able to hold a 3.5 or better GPA as a squad. This included field hockey (3.69), gymnastics (3.62), tennis (3.57), and women's soccer (3.53).
 
17 athletic programs on campus maintained a team GPA of 3.0 or better this spring. The list includes: field hockey (3.69), gymnastics (3.62), tennis (3.57), women's soccer (3.53), softball (3.47), women's basketball (3.36), women's cross country (3.36), ice hockey (3.33), women's lacrosse (3.29), men's swimming and diving (3.28), women's track and field (3.20), men's lacrosse (3.19), women's swimming and diving (3.19), men's cross country (3.17), men's soccer (3.17), volleyball (3.13), and baseball (3.12).
 
18 teams were able to hold a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher for the year: gymnastics (3.59), tennis (3.50), women's soccer (3.48), field hockey (3.46), ice hockey (3.27), women's track and field (3.25), volleyball (3.22), women's swimming and diving (3.22), women's cross country (3.21), softball (3.19), men's swimming and diving (3.19), baseball (3.17), women's basketball (3.14), men's cross country (3.12), women's lacrosse (3.12), men's lacrosse (3.09), men's soccer (3.07), and men's track and field (3.00).
 
As a department, the Golden Eagle student-athletes earned a combined cumulative GPA of 3.17 for the year (602 student-athletes).
