th at 7 pm before taking on New Paltz at home on Saturday, September 23

Program History: With dominant wins over Utica and Wells College the past week, the Green and Gold secured the best start in program history at 6-0 to begin the 2023 season. The Brockport defense allowed no breathing room in either contest, allowing just 2 shots on goal across both contests to go with just 6 shot attempts.
Quinn Guy and
Tiffany Andres powered the offense with 8 combined goals, with Guy recording a hat trick against Utica.

National Rankings: Both individually and as a team, Brockport ranks among the nation's best teams 6 games into the 2023 season.
Quinn Guy's incredible start to the 2023 season ranks her 14
th in the country in points per game (2.8), as well as 20
th in the country in goals per game (1.2).
Paige Thowe ranks 17
th in the country and 2
nd in the SUNYAC in assists per game (0.8).
Tiffany Andres also slots in the top 30 in the country in goals per game at 27
th, averaging a goal per outing.
Ella Buchanan currently holds the SUNYAC lead in goals against average with 0.77, good for 17
th in the country out of 150 qualified goaltenders.

As a unit, the Golden Eagles hold several top-25 national statistical ratings. Brockport is currently one of only two teams in the country to begin the season 6-0, in addition to holding top 20 ranks in goals per game (4.0, 14
th), and points per game (10.17, 15
th). The Green and Gold also land among the nation's top 10 in scoring margin (3.8, 7
th), and scoring average (4.8, 9
th).

Next (Wo) Man Up: The Golden Eagles have managed to continue their success despite the absence of
Ella Buchanan. Sophomore
Katelynn Banning has stepped up in her absence, going 2-0 in starts against Utica and Wells, allowing just 1 goal combined in both games.

Scouting Ithaca: The Bombers will enter the matchup with Brockport at 3-3, currently on a two-game slide after falling to Cortland 3-1 and to #9 York College 2-1. In the 2022 season, Brockport broke an 8-game head-to-head losing streak against Ithaca, defeating the Bombers 2-1.    Â

Scouting New Paltz: The Hawks have jumped out to a solid 4-1 start, most recently suffering their first loss of the season on the road against #21 Rochester 2-1. Brockport will look to change the tide in the head-to-head series and secure their first win against New Paltz since 2006.
