Brockport, NY - The Brockport field hockey team will host Oneonta in non-conference action on Wednesday, October 16^th at 4 p.m.
 
Last Outing: The Golden Eagles survived a tough challenge at home on Saturday, downing the Hawks of Hartwick, 1-0. The Golden Eagles moved to 10-3 overall and 5-0 in E8 play, extending their winning streak to seven.
 
Ella Buchanan (W, 8-2), guided Brockport to victory with a 10 save, shutout performance, playing all 60 minutes for Brockport.
 
Samantha Choate (1G) and Gianna Salerno (1A) combined for what would serve as the game-winning goal.
 
Allison Greene recorded the second of two Brockport shots on goal in the match.
 
DPOTW… Again: For back-to-back weeks and the third time this season, Ella Buchanan was named Empire 8 Defensive Player of the Week.
 
Buchanan currently leads the Empire 8 in nearly every goaltending statistic, including save percentage (.838), shutouts (6), and average goals allowed (.957). Buchanan has also allowed the fewest goals of all eligible goalies (11) in the E8.
