Brockport, NY- The Brockport field hockey team will head to Rochester to face off with Nazareth in E8 action on Saturday, October 19^th at noon.
 
Last Outing: The Golden Eagles pulled out a 4-3 2OT win at home against Oneonta on Wednesday, October 16^th. The win moved Brockport to 11-3 on the season, marking back-to-back 11-win seasons for the Green and Gold.  
 
Ella Buchanan (W, 9-2) was excellent throughout, making 12 stops on the day across 72:10 of action.
 
Kelsey Zehr (2G, 4 points) and Paige Thowe (1G, 1A) led Brockport with 7 shots each (5 SOG).


Samantha Choate notched the golden goal in the 2^nd overtime, thanks to an assist from Allison Greene.
 
8 Straight: After a middling 3-3 start to the 2024 season, the Golden Eagles have ripped off 8 straight victories, tying the longest winning streak in program history. Brockport has outscored its opponents 31-7 over the winning streak with 4 clean sheets.
 
Individual Leaders: Several Golden Eagles rank among the top of the Empire 8 in multiple statistical categories.

Scouting Nazareth: The Golden Flyers will enter Saturday's matchup with a 6-6 record, holding a 4-2 mark in E8 play. Nazareth is currently in the midst of a 3-game-winning streak, most recently defeating Owego 2-0 at home last Wednesday. Brockport will enter Saturday looking for its 5^th straight win in the head-to-head series.
