Box Score Rochester, NY - The Brockport field hockey team extended its winning streak to nine on Saturday, defeating Nazareth on the road, 4-3. This 9-game win streak sets the new program record for consecutive wins, as the Golden Eagles improved to 12-3 overall and 6-0 in Empire 8 play.

Tiffany Andres led the way with her best outing of the season, posting five points on the day with two goals.

The Golden Flyers jumped out to an early 1-0 lead, thanks to the first of two Michaela Cushman goals.

Down 1-0 in the second period,
Tiffany Andres's first goal would even the ledger for Brockport at 1-1 at the 29:42 mark of the contest.

Despite entering halftime tied at 1-1, the Golden Eagles would outshoot the Golden Flyers 12-4 in the opening half.

Less than one minute removed from Nazareth's second goal to go up 2-1 in the third, Andres would strike once again. This time with an unassisted goal at the 36:47, Andres tied the contest at 2-2.

In a back-and-forth affair, Nazareth would take the back the lead with Michaela Cushman's second goal of the contest just 38 seconds later, giving the home team a 3-2 lead in the third.

Brockport would swiftly respond once again, with
Allison Greene recording the final goal of the third period to enter the final frame at 3-3.

The Golden Eagles would dominate the 4
th period, holding the Golden Flyers without a shot in the final quarter.

Coming through in the clutch once again,
Samantha Choate's fourth quarter goal would serve as the game-winner, giving Brockport a 4-3 victory.

Choate led all players with 10 shots (3 SOG), including the game-securing tally.

Kelsey Zehr finished the day with four shots on goal for the Green and Gold.

Ella Buchanan (W,10-2) earned her 10
th win of the season, making two saves across 60 minutes of action.
