Brockport, NY - The Brockport field hockey team will head to Oswego in non-conference action on Tuesday, October 8
th at 5 p.m.

Last Outing: Brockport capped off a 2-0 week with a 3-0 win at Russell Sage on Saturday, October 8
th. The Golden Eagles improved to 8-3 on the season, with a 4-0 record in E8 play.

Ella Buchanan (W, 7-2) provided yet another shutout performance, saving three shots across 60 minutes of game time.

Allison Greene led all players with 10 shots, including seven shots on net.

Sophia Jones and
Chloe Curtis added a goal each to power the Brockport offense.

Emmalee Moore registered seven shots (3 SOG), adding Brockport's lone defensive save on the day.

Kelsey Zehr led all players with three points, providing a goal and an assist.

E8 DPOTW: For the second time this season,
Ella Buchanan was named Empire 8 Defensive Athlete of the Week for back-to-back shutout performances against Keuka and Russell Sage.

Buchanan currently leads all Empire 8 goalies in save percentage (.807) and goals against average (1.15), in addition to holding the 9
th-best career save percentage of all D3 goalkeepers (.809)

Red Hot: Brockport is in the midst of a 5-game-winning streak, including four straight Empire 8 wins. The Golden Eagles have outscored its opponents 25-4 over the 5-game stretch, with 10 different players recording a goal in an all-around team effort.

Scouting Oswego: The Lakers sit at 4-6 overall with a 0-1 record in SUNYAC play, most recently defeating Roberts Wesleyan 1-0 at home on Saturday. Tuesday's matchup between former SUNYAC members has seen Brockport come out on top in the last two head-to-head meetings.
