Box Score Brockport, NY- The Brockport men's basketball dropped Saturday's matchup against John Carroll in Ohio, 85-69, on November 16^th. The Golden Eagles fell to 1-3 on the young season following the loss.
 
Following a back-and-forth first 13 minutes, a Colby Jordan bucket would put Brockport ahead by four with 7:02 left in the first half. Jordan would have a strong outing, dropping 11 points on 50% shooting with five rebounds and a team-high four steals.
 
The Blue Streaks would take over the remainder of the first half, ending the quarter on a 21-7 run to enter halftime up 47-37.
 
Trading buckets in the second half, four straight Tony Arnold points would cut the lead to just six with 13:40 left in the contest. Arnold would finish with 15 points, six rebounds, five assists, and three steals in a dynamic effort.
 
John Carroll would once again pull away, outscoring Brockport 29-19 in the remainder of the half to earn an 85-69 win.
 
The Blue Streaks would be the more effective team offensively, outshooting Brockport 46.39% to 33.89% from the floor.
 
Zachary Rice would lead Brockport in scoring, dropping 18 points with six rebounds and two steals.
 
Alex Tavarez (14 min, six rebounds) and Adewale Fasanmi (3 min, 2-2 FG) made the most of their minutes, scoring six points each.
